The Architecture Resource Center, AIA Connecticut, and the Connecticut Architecture Foundation proudly hosted 2025 K-12 Architecture Week, an engaging and interactive initiative designed to spark curiosity and introduce young learners to the world of architecture, design, and sustainability. The program featured two hands-on workshops tailored for children ages 8–12, focusing on the fundamentals of sustainable design through the construction of solar-powered model houses at the Eli Whitney Museum & Workshop and at the New Haven Free Public Library, where eager participants explored how architecture can positively impact both communities and the environment.
